Splash Bar Gain, or Austin as he is known around the barn, came to the rescue because his owner could no longer afford to care for him. Austin is a sweet boy who does very well inside the ring, but can get a little excited on the trails. He occassionally tries to rush back to the barn at the end of his ride! For that reason, we feel he should have at least an advanced beginner rider.

Austin does have Impressive in his lineage, so he is heterozygous for HYPP. However, he's never had an incident. As a precauion, we've put him on a low potassium diet to avoid any potential problem.

Austin is quite the looker, with a bald face and a soft eye. He stands about 15.1hh.
